2/1/97, I  hooked up to the net in the morning as usual, checked the mail, 
my web pages, went into IRC to chat for a bit, maybe test my T1 deck for 
tomorrow, and found out there was a T2 tournament at 130 est, so what the 
hell, I joined in. I had several decks to choose from, I had been working 
on several and had already tried my pox deck in a Tournament, (I bummed out 
at 0-2) it was a variant of mine (like all my decks) and I lost badly to a 
WW deck, and a Green deck (that I shoulda beat but my ISP bummed out in the 
middle of game 2, so I forfeited that game, then she beat me the 3rd game) 
anyways, I liked the way This played, and had been working on it earlier 
this week, I also had a "Ice" deck (as I was told later) that I wanted to 
use, but went with 5cB instead. 

SO this is my Final version BEFORE the Tourny. Made changes afterwards

*I cant believe I forgot Perish, need to swap Wastes for Perish.
This Tournament is for a Player of the Yeaar Invite to the top 4, and PWL 
points as always. I go undefeated in the swiss, make it into the semis and 
die to a very good deck, in 3 extremely long games. Im going to the POTY... 
Player of the year Tournament. , and SO anyways on to the Tournament.

Round One: 
Hurloon  / Nice Guy / 	Sleigh- no scroll, mogg cannon, Bombardment, and other 
sligh essesntials

Game One: I won, took the DD in the gut, controlled his critters just barley, 
caped him off with some protected man-o wars and black knights.
	Sided in Biskelions for re-usability

Game Two: I Lost, bad draw, 1 Incinerate, 6 land, very bad, he overran me, 
DD the few creatures I had, killed me with little <G>'s

Game Two: I won, he got a really good start, then stalled out, see game 1. 

Games: 2-1-0   matches:1-0-0

Round Two:
Burner/ Little whineing whench / 	Mono-green, overrun, Boa, Centaur, 
Lion, etc

Game 1: I Lost, I get swarmed, and Die
	Side in lions,

Game 2: I won, counter burn, everything, then armageddion seals the damage 
race between his one centaur, and 2 of my critters.

Game 3: I win, It starts like game 1, but eventually I slow him down, with a 
nekrataal, Man o war, biskelionm and uktabi's for his Worbs. We start racing 
for damage, Im drawing a creature everyturn to sacrafice to his onslaught of 
foratog, (0/1) Centaur, and elves/muscle sliver. I manage to get him down to 
2 under the orb, Im at 1, he has a 0/1 Foratog (biskelion) and a centaur, I 
have 1 Uktabi and a Nekrataal, and 2 lands that don't deal damage when taped. 
His turn, he taps out for a Overrun, I sink for 1, block centaur, and take the 
0 damage from foratog, then Nek chops off his head during my turn.. haha

Note he would have won if he didn't want overkill, and through out the 
next 4 hours he continually wines about not having a chance at getting 
a Invite, etc... booo hoo. Eventually he gets like 5th or 6th seed because 
he has a 5/5 game record. 

Games: 4-2-0    Matches: 2-0-0

Round Three:
Fryguy / Good player / 	U/g Never saw a green card, but he had several 
skyshroud forests out at one time so I assume.. he has impulse, disrupt, 
dismiss, powersink, sounterspell, Man o war, phids, etc..

Game 1: I win, Get some un-countered critters down, he lays disk, I geddon, 
he lays Isnad, pops disk, I get out a Nettletoothm game over

Game 2: I win, Choke on Turn 4, 'chant a disk, beatdown with a Man o war 
and a black knight.

Games: 6-2-0 Matches: 3-0-0

Round Four
Mdonais / dunno what he was playing, he conceded, it didn't matter though, 
we were playing for seed number anyways, and ID is not allowed in PWL , turned 
out to be a kewl guy, him and TopCat went at it for 1st and 2nd eventually...

Games: 8-2-0 Matches 4-0-0

Finals
If I win this match I get a invite, and of coarse more PWL points, all I want 
to do is win this one. 

 Fat / Hes kewl ? Plaing 5cB, some weird variant.

Game 1: I win: we basically start off the same, untill I whip out my 12 pack, 
and clear the way, top decking a 'chant to take out a ganda along the way.

Game 2: I win again, he staarts fast, I torch, ball, 'cinerate, kindle it all, 
then he puts down a Worb, and we start the long haul with a 'taal and a mage, 
I get him to 2, he geddons after killing the taal, I put down a City of Brass, 
a swamp, then Black Knight, he has nothing, I had been holding all three since 
beginning of game.. game

I get my invite, advance to semis.

Semis:
Gainst Top Cat, playing with Gerrads Wisdom, counters and Hammer recursion, I 
win #1, he gets me 2 and 3, they were all really close, all starting with me 
laying creatures, and blowing fire, then he would gerrads for 14, then remove 
all my creauteres with dd, and kill me with a hammer, countering everything else 
long the way.. took about 2 hours to play these 3 games 9or it seemed, but it 
really was a long time, semis started round5, I got done like at 7.... )

But it didn't matter, I got my Invite, a net gain of like 15 pwl points, and a 
fun Tourney.....
