The basic premise of the deck is to control your opponent's mana supply through the use of LD spells and when the time is appropriate (often 1st turn) lay down a nether void, hopefully with damage on the board. Your spell casting is made possible through the use of Mana Vault and Dark Ritual. Juzam's are normally vulnerable to many a friendly white spell, and control magic... but when they have the cover of the Void to work under they are the fastest most brutal damage in the game (same goes for his friend Order) 4 turns you're dead. The factories provide a "free" creature under the Void, and Strips are "free" alnd destruction (and it cant be countered). Vise's provide cheap consistant non creature damage. The biggest problem for this deck is a first turn moat... :) Which i have seen (the opponent died a few turns later to 2 Vises). It's my favorite deck and it wins with or without using the traditional blue spoilers.... Making it somewhat of an outcast among most type 1 decks. The varients i have tryed are many, most recently a version with 4 mana crypt's and a couple of yawgmoth demons (they are cool as shit) ... they don't care about moat. Also during the dark ages (the period where vises where restricted in t1), it sported Hypnotic Specter's.

I played against one in the semi final's of a tourney in Conn (the guy had won the last 2 tourney's there). It was interesting and he got me to one life (sad to say i was playing a mill stone deck) with a stupid Savannah Lion... Apparently it works. I would play with some Serendib Efreets however.
