The top decks from the U.S. Open/Nationals, European Championship, World Championship '98 and top tournaments around the world are listed below. These decks are the decks to be prepared for... because you will be playing against them . The environment is extremely stable, with sideboards becoming a paramount concern for the highly tuned deck. Most people seem to be focusing on the upcoming environment for November when the Mirage block rotates out of the T2 cardset and Urza's Saga rotates in. There are, of course, still quite a few diehards that are feverishly playing sanctioned T2, for that last chance to play with some of their favorites cards like Gaea's Blessing, Man-o'-War, Undiscovered Paradise, Hammer of Bogardan, Nekrataal, Abeyance, and several other cards that have become staple tournament cards that will rotate out soon with the Mirage Block.
