Notes: We all know how mono-red speed decks are very strong in T2 nowadays, although this concept may be carried over to Tempest, mono-red in an all-Tempest format is quite slow due to lack of celerity creatures and too few cheap DD (lightning blast is expensive and slow to be effective early critter removal). red's inability to deal with enchantments is further aggravated by cards like chill and propaganda (heck, it hoses all weenie swarm decks). This version of sligh has those cool red slivers: 2nd turn heart sliver, attack, 3rd turn barbed sliver, attack with 2; almost as good as a suq'ata lancer. Pallimud makes the opponent think twice before tapping lands for mana, its 3 toughness makes it a decent blocker at the very least. Goblin bombardment makes all the critters mogg fanatic wannabes. White is splashed for essential main deck disenchants and for the arguably best shadow creature so far, soltari guerillas. The Spirit Mirror is the ace-up-in-sleeves. Most decks will be caught flat footed when facing an unkillable critter such as this. It also works well with the gobbo bombardment in play. The sideboard contains mostly standard color hosers. Rare to see a red mage using warmth when dueling another red player. Two more disenchants for those combo decks and a couple of pacifisms against pro-red critters rounds it off.
