Control in Tempest - Dave Ross

November Semifinalists

Notes: The sideboard is deinitely very color specific, since it looks like black and red are going to be the prominent colors (based around a sligh format). 1-2 Orim's Prayers together with Invulnerability poses a strong defense. Cursed Scoll provides and excellent source for colorless damage (against pro-color weenies) as well as damaging your opponent. Sky spirits round off the damage in the sky. Propaganda also limits the amount of creatures attacking you, and meditate can be great late in the game. One Mana Severance will tighten up this deck, when at least 10-12 lands are in play. The Winds of Rath will sweep the creatures that are hard to handle, or when your opponent builds up too many. Disenchants will prove very useful against many of the other control decks, relying on Humility and Orim's Prayer. All in all, just a very solid deck!!!!
