The new adventured of Rocky and Bullwinkle in:

Something Like an Automaton!

or

Jayemdae Tome Beatdown!

Well Kidies, after the massive showing of REAL mono-green decks lately, I have been working my own version with massive recursion and utility.

I have been playing around with monogreen since I saw Wakefields Secret Force. But I have to say that I like Seth Burns Stupid Green Deck better. I tested my version for the past week or so, and it seems to be doing very well...to my amazement. After testing the SGD and other decks, I am certain in my mind that my version is better. But take into effect that this is my mind, and my stuff takes precidence. anyways...let me show you my version and tell you about the changes.

3 elves
3 wall o root
2 wall o blossom
2 hermit druids
2 sex monkey
3 spike feeder
1 spike weaver
3 stampeeding wilderbeasts
2 mindless automatons

4 vineyards
3 cursed scroll
3 desert twister
4 creeping mold
2 sylvan libraries
1 survival of the fattest
2 geas blessing
4 wastelands
16 forests

Sideboard:
4 scragnoths
3 hall of gemstone
3 null brooch
2 spike weaver
1 survival of the fattest
2 hurricanes

ok..
now.
to show you what i did with the deck.

The deck has a very cool engine. I think it's a hemi...gotta be. Anyways, it goes like so.

card highlights:
hermit druid: this guy is just the bomb! nothin but. he gets you mana, thins the deck, and regurgitates control cards

automaton/aka. Jayemdae beatdown: damn this card is cool, the more i play with it the more i like it. this guy is big. a 2/2 for 4 mana kinda sucks, but he gets +1/+1 for every card you chuck, and you are getting cards from the druids. Just today I dropped 5 forests to give him +5/+5. Nothing a 7/7 can't handle, but hell he also lets you draw if you need it or if he gets sacced somehow. It's just great to see someone kindle it, just so you can put a counter on your wall, drop a forest and make him 3/3 :P

survival of the fattest: Wow...chuck that 2nd or 3rd wilderbeast to get an automaton...or get a sex monkey if you need it or a wall if your in danger or a fog machine or a speeder if you need some life, or a druid to get land hell..this card is great, but the deck only needs 1-2 max.

sylvan library: yes it is normally a great card, but with the druid/survival it rocks! use it with survival to reshuffle if the 3 cards suck. Use it with the druid to draw a land off the top of the deck, or to roll till you get land before you draw. infinite possibilities...great card

Wilderbeast: the other engine. Yes he is beatdown, but his main part in the deck is to bounce walls, monkeys and spikes. he's also very defensive if you get a weaver, which gives you infifog.

vineyard: can you say speed mana. not only that, but this deck will always have something to do with the mana. Most other decks out there will look scary for the first 3 turns they have 2 vines out, but after that they burn for 4 every turn. great card....nothin like a 3rd turn desert twister to scare the crap out of an opponent.

This is green control. If you play beatdown, you might win once or twice, but this deck doesn't have that much beatdown stuff. Mostly control. with the 11 land destro in recursion, as well as the other many things that this deck can do to control the board, you should outlast almost any deck.

this deck has problems with only a few decks. It beats most weenies right away, and most other decks that cant deal with vineyards. scrolls are not a real problem because sex monkey comes to the rescue via survival, or on his own. the main problems come with counter, bounce, and bloom. this is fixed in sideboard with 2 cards. 4 hall of gemstone screw counter, and bloom, and can be played on turn 2. scragnoth takes bounce and beats it to a pulp, and also does a number to most counter/whatever contaptions(take into effect that scragnoth usually gets some spike counters to make him even more phat).

Well, I can't really think of much more to say, so if you have questions of comments feel free to mail me at kitshiker@hotmail.com

Later all.
