It's tested pretty well in my quest for a strong regionals deck, and requires very little tuning at this point. If anyone starts sending me e-mail asking why I listed shocks for this deck instead of incinerates, I'll save you the trouble =P The shocks tested much better with this deck when going up against sligh, WW, 5cB, and 5cG, because I have the option of nailing something on the first turn (mana birds, quirion rangers, jackal pups, hermit druids, etc..). Also, the allures, fire walkers, and man O wars allow me the versatility of controlling creatures with a toughness higher than 2. I won't get into how Large and In Charge the Waterspout is in T2.. 9 Island 5 Mountain 2 Plains 2 Flood Plain 2 Quicksand 1 Undiscovered Paradise 1 City of Brass 3 Waterspout Djinn 4 Man O War 4 Suq 'Ata Firewalker 2 Dwarven Miner 4 Ophidian 2 Legacy's Allure 4 Counterspell 2 Mana Leak 2 Dissipate 4 Impulse 3 Disenchant 4 Shock Sideboard: 3 Pyroblast 2 Hydroblast 3 Propaganda 1 Null Rod 1 Mangara's Blessing 2 Phyrexian Furnace 1 Knight of the Mist 2 Honorable Passage //******************************* Nathan Donovan nated@greatwave.com *******************************//
