Luckily i had all my card with me so it was only to make a deck. I decided to play a Doomsday-deck(see D-day recursion) that was created by Klas Lofstrom. This deck easily beats creature-decks so I hoped to see much of that. I was a little worried about Control-decks but almost my entire sideboard was against that(and blood moon). The tournament was going to be held in Trondheims "Folkehus" at 12 oīclock.After an hours searching I found it and signed up.It was 19 people in the tournament and we were going to play 5 round swiss. Doomsday black: 3 Doomsday 3 dark ritual 3 vampiric tutor 1 Demonic tutor Blue: 1 Brain geyser 1 Ancestral recall 1 Time twister 1 Time walk 1 Mediate 2 Brainstorm 3 Arcane denial 2 Mystical tutor Green: 2 City of solitude 1 Fastbond 1 Regrowth Red: 1 Wheel of fortune Colourles: 5 Moxen 3 Lionīs eye diamond 1 Black lotus 1 Zuran orb White: 2 Abeyence Multicolour: 2 Squanderd resources Lands: 1 Libray of alexandria 1 Strip mine 4 City of brass 2 Reflecting pool 4 Gemstone mine 4 Underground sea 2 Bayou 61 cards Sideboard 2 Abeyence 1 City of solitude 1 Arcane denial 4 Pyro blast 3 Hydro blast 4 Barbed sextant The point of this deck is to get the eternal TT/Regrowth loop. You do like this: You play doomsday for Regrowth,TT,Braingeyser,Black lotus and loins eye diamond. Then you play the TT and sack Loti and the diamond. then you get all the good cards again and play it again and again. You will go one mana plus every time you do it. To kill him you play braingeyser on a ton. The problem is Control decks and Blood moon but with all that sideboard cards you might win anyway. First match against Jonne?. Necro He starts with swamp and is ready.I play Dark ritual and D-day.With the TT in my hand its game if he doesnīt.He doesnīt and I win.In the next match he plays Dark ritual,Dark ritual,Hippie and hymn. He takes my TT and Ancestral!Goodnight.... The third match my deck getīs a turbo start and he doesnīt get any hymns. Game! 1-0-0(2-1) Second match agains Holme Dal. Mono green I laugh inside and start to play. Holme i playing a green creature decks(30+). I feel quite safe becuse my deck easily wins against this kind of deck. The only way he can win is if I get mana screwed. I get my mana and win quite easily(Ernham just isnīt fast enough). 2-0-0(4-1) Third match against ? (dont recall the name). Sligh In the first match he got the 3 Strips and takes all my mana away(burn,burn). Second match I got the combo going turn three and he doesnīt manage to kill me that fast.1-1 The third game my deck just donīt work but I get a zuran and manage to win in someway. 3-0-0(6-2) Fourth match against John Sveén Control-deck with monkeys and miners(argh!) The first match he get an early miner and eats all my mana,to bad! Second game he got mana screwed and i get my combo through(puh!). Third game is just like the first one. Fast miner,game over! 3-0-1(7-4) Fifth match against Jan Hansen. Djinn-deck with counters First match I get all the good cards.I win turn 2. Second match he get first turn Ernham and get mana screwed and dies! I know my deck should win over this kind of deck. I curse his deck and start to play. He doesnīt get any mana and I win (my curse worked!) 4-0-1(9-5) Finals against Mikael. Zoo First game I get a swamp as the only mana. His lions bites me to a safe death. Second game I get a Strip mine on the opening hand. Mana screw again! Lion,burn,burn. Game! I hate my deck! Mikael end up being the winner after beating a Control-deck in the final. Thatīs all! Bye! Bye!
