a very cheap competitive type 2 deck using no rares at all :-)

3 stalking stones

2 sea sprites (for sligh mainly)

the reason it's solid are the 14 counters,all the card advantage cards
(esp. dismisses, ophis and allures) , and effectively 18 creatures to
beat  the guy down with (11 main excl. floodgates+ 3 stalkers + 4
stolen with allures)

the only rares you'd really like in are a couple of  tradewinds (about
$3 a pop i think - probably replace the floodgates - or the sprites if
you're not in a 'sligh' zone :)

the bord will have ,hydroblasts,chill,energy fluxes and propagandas
etc - plus misc artifacts - ? puppet strings vs scragnoth etc. -
whatever suits your local meta-game.
