Subject: Date: Mon, 22 Dec 1997 00:14:25 -0500 From: "catherine" To: my marogeddon deck Green: 4 maros (duh) 4 birds of paradise 4 river boas 4 jolraels centaurs 4 gaes blessings (library manipulation) 2 sylvan librarys (ditto) 2 quiron rangers (wouldn't want your lands getting destroyed) 2 city of solitudes (counters bad, also great metagame choice) White: 4 pacifisms (no swords) 4 armageddon (duh) 3 disenchants 1 avenging angel (used to be serra angel cant think of anything else) 1 invulnerability (thrown in, couldn't think of anything) Gold: squandered resorces (if your lands are gonna get destroyed might as well get one last burst out of them) Land: 8 forests 5 plains 4 gemstone mines (work great with armageddon) 2 city of brass (would replace with undiscovered but dont have any more) 1 brushland 1 undiscovered paradise Sideboard: 2 cop red 2 karmas (3 depending on popularity of pox decks) 1 disenchant (more control) 2 earthquakes (depending on popularity of 4CB) 2 wrath of ods (weenie horde) 2 alters of dementia (propageddon is bad) 4 hydroblasts or 4 chills depending on taste I have played this deck very much and it doesn't lose very often. I have never played it in a tournement because ive never seen one played so i figured it wasnt as string as it seems to work. The object is to get a maro out third turn and armageddon forth turn. Gaes blessing help very much to either get lands back or other very helpful cards. Marogeddon is played just like the traditional ernhamgeddon except marogeddon requires you to play a more reserved game. Any suggestions would be very appreciated. e-mail am0816@arrownet.com
