Subject: Tourney report - Ass Whuppin Lynch Mob Date: Fri, 19 Dec 1997 00:24:52 -0600 From: thomas koopman To: fkusumot@ix.netcom.com Texas Semi-Pro Qualifier held at Strike Zone, in Houston, Texas. First a bitch: They did not allow intentional draws, which really annoys the hell out of me and the rest of Team Houston, as we had to play each other about fifteen times all day. Four of eight members of the team brought a very similar deck, while the rest of the team brought their own concoctions, including 5CG, Stasis, and some other janky stuff. With intentional draw, we capture six of the final eight spots, without, we capture four. Three of the following deck make the final eight, and one wins. Hows that for consistency? I can't remember all the rounds, so I will just state that in five rounds of swiss, I lost one game to play errors, and three games to mana screw, resulting in a 3-2 record that made the final eight. Other versions of the deck lost no games. This is the final version of the deck (Sort of a combination of all the winning themes.)
