I don't understand how Capsize + 2 Medallions is that tough to get out. I did it consistently; consistently enough to place 3/4 in a very large TII $1000 tourney. If you play the right deck, it isn't that big of a feat to get the Capsize loop going. I agree the deck is vulnerable, but what deck isn't? I think this deck isn't as vulnerable as most decks. Of course, you don't know *exactly* what I'm talking about, so I will expand. Mana - 28 4 Sapphire Medallion 3 Mind Stone 3 Svyelunite Temple 18 Island Counters - 13 4 Counterspell 2 Dissipate 3 Powersink 4 Dismiss Resistance - 14 4 Propaganda 2 Dream Tides (or Pendrell, take your pick) 4 Boomerang 4 Capsize Drawing - 3 3 Whispers of the Muse Beatdown - 2 2 Sibilant Spirit This deck (containing 27 defense cards) can hold off long enough to get 2 Medallions out (if not 3 - depending on where they are stacked in your library). It also has 8 cards to get those slippery permanents back into your opponents hand so they can be properly countered.
