A friend of mine (Aaron "The Relentless") who was playing in the Arena came up with this deck: 4 Disencant 4 Wrath of God 4 Counterspell 4 Dissipate 4 Dismiss 4 Desertion 4 Force Spike 4 Sapphire Medallion 4 Chimuric Sphere 4 Steel Golem 2 Xanthic Statue 2 Scorched Ruins 2 Undiscovered Paradise 2 Reflecting Pool 7 Island 7 Plains Sideboard 3 Chill 2 COP: Red 2 COP: Black 2 Whim of Volrath 2 Hydroblast 2 Gerrard's Wisdom 2 Disks <--- He loves these Believe me ... it works. He beat at least a dozen Type 1.5 decks (2 of which were his) & everything that was T2 legal didn't stand a chance (Sligh got whooped 4-0, Pox 3-0, Discard 2-0, Stompy 5-0) Everyone said control was dead.. it ain't. FoW didn't make control (but it did help a whole lot)
