Subject: New post-tempest stompy Date: 31 Oct 1997 12:35:35 GMT From: roilapo@aol.com (ROI Lapo) Newsgroups: rec.games.trading-cards.magic.strategy lands-- 4 vec townships 14 forests critters 4 llanowar elves 4 quiron rangers 4 muscle slivers 4 whirling dervishes 4 rogue elephants 4 river boas 3 lygoryfs *spelling is always above me on this beasty* 4 harvest wyrms 2 veteran explorers--will explain later read on 3 giant growths the rest-- 3 armageddons 3 static orbs 60 cards sideboard 4 citys' of solitude 4 uktabi orangs 4 quicksands 2 cop red 1 giant growth objective-- keep em tapped out on critters if they have em--the vecs are just there to be destroyed by the armageddons and the rangers allot me to return forests at will to hand in response to armagedds--the veteran explorers are for early game when my hand shows obvious great creature advantage--i'll throw em out taunt with em till my opponent kills em go fishing then armageddon-- usually after the first of a set of 3 the opponent won't fish for lands when veteran dies so I switch him out for uktabi orangs or something of that nature-- with the armageddons winter orb lock isn't necessary but creature lock is hence the static orb I can rest on a static and one mana untapping at least critters per round via rangers and such---tell me what you think its run down sligh/counterpost/relurren decks/most of the new post tempest decks and a furnace deck gets eaten alive by it... lance Lance Brown aka Lapo rita.123net.net 7777-----> mail teddy and tell her lapo sent ya then mail me...you'll get a prize
