Date: Fri, 17 Oct 1997 17:00:19 +0100 From: Russell Bulmer After getting my tempest stuff on Tuesday, I threw this deck together... 4 Aluren 3 Recycle 4 Lawnmower Elves 4 Quirion Ranger 4 Shreiking Drake 4 Ball Lightening 4 Viashino Sandstalker 2 Ancetral Knowledge 1 Impluse 3 Noble Benafactors 2 Ertai's Meddling and some land of the appropriate colors... Well, a few of us went round to a friend's house to play some Magic... I played a guy one-on-one... and played aluren turn 4, and recycle turn 5 and started with the drake... layed 4 balls and 4 stalkers... The outcome? He's having problems with his wife due to him shouting obscenities at me more 5 minutes... while his 4 year old kid was listening.... and I was the first person to die in every multiplayer that night... and I have a feeling it's going to continue all weekend... So please... if you want to keep your friends, and avoid marital troubles... avoid such decks... Cheers all Russell
