Subject: extended deck from pt chicago Date: Wed, 15 Oct 1997 19:29:08 -0400 (EDT) From: MAGAPL@aol.com To: fkusumot@ix.netcom.com This is the deck that myself (Adam Lemke) and fellow members of Team Sped (Jamie Parke and Joe Weber), played at pro tour Chicago. We played this deck mainly because when playtesting, we found that no deck could really beat necro if it got a good hymn draw. With 9 total hand destruction (10 after sideboard) this deck could get that "good hymn draw" often. With no cards in hand, most decks have a tough time dealing with 12 snake tokens and 10 point drains. It performed good against every deck and gave counterpost the beatdown. We expected to see a lot of counterpost. The deck performed well enough to put me into the top 64. It has a tough time dealing with geddon but for the most part beats everything else.
