A necro deck without undiscovereds will usually not be able to Wisdom for more than 12. The damage from the Cities of Brass usually didn't hurt me at all thanks to my mass life gainers. I did test abeyances aswell, and they worked very well at stalling my opponents early creature rush so that I could set up a good lake drain/necro recursion, at which point I didnt really care about creatures. And the abeyances help you to cycle through your deck for that Necro WHILE keeping the extra cards in hand. unlike the other WiseNecro posted, I concentrated on the Card Advantage/lake drain aspect of Mcabes Old Necro. With the stupors and Coerscions being used to pull counters in order to get my necro out. The deck did very well in playtesting against burn and heavy creature decks, but died horribly to counterpost or counterhammer styles.
