Date: Wed, 20 Aug 1997 11:57:45 -0500 From: Steve Bradford Subject: Necrobloom I am currently playing a variation on Prosperous Bloom called Necrobloom. It relies on Necro for consistent card drawing and multiple Drain Lifes for the victory. It also utilizes a vicious Doomsday combo--make the final five cards to be Drain Life, Two Gaea's Blessing, Nevy's Disk, and Grinning Totem. Cast Disk, Drain, and Totem repeatedly--and repeat ad nauseum with the help of Gaea's Blessing (which fetches the cards back, and replaces itself, to boot.) The Gaea's Blessing also protects the small library from Millstone and Helm of Obedience by reshuffling the graveyard when they are milled into it. When it works, it is vicious...but sometimes, it falls on its face completely, usually to creature swarm. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
