As an asnwer to your question about how to use the lord succesfully in a deck, here is my suggestion: Well, being here on the list for quite a long time, I've seen many decks and read many comments, some of them more successfull than others. In the last couple of weeks, I had more time to answer some of the mails on this list, and now, I'm posting one of my new overpowered decks...:-) (if that exists at all) Ok, last saturday, I went to that tournament in Reutlingen (as every month) again very well organized by Uwe and freddy (If I don't say it they kill me)(for report see shirkan's report) The only problem we had was the lack of room for all of us (who copuld imagine that a 5 DM tournament with was created to promote young players would be attented by so many good players? (4 or 5 of the top20 in germany)) which is understandeble. So to the deck I wanted to post, I met shirkan there, and I told him about my deck and he motivated me to share it with the list. Some time ago, I read somewhere, that a someone stated that a deck that could not win a multiplayer is not tournament worth. Well this monster I want to present actully win urnament worth. Well this monster I want to present actully win agains arquetypes and multiplayer...:-) (I can see your faces imagening the worst) Here it goes, the theme is a maro/wisdom/necro/link/good stuff critter deck: 4 river boas (for the casul blue players, and to slow down the opponent) 4 Birds of paradise 4 Maros 3 Luhrgoys ---> Until here it looks like a normal deck, but wait for the best...:) 2 Force of nature (yes! Tha might!) 2 Lt wait for the best...:) 2 Force of nature (yes! Tha might!) 2 Lord of the pit (you should see the faces of the opponents when this hits the table) 4 spirit links 3 Necretaal 4 Necropotence 2 disenchant 2 Swords to plow. 1 Divine offering 2 Gerrand's wisdom 2 Dark ritual 2 thawning glaciers 4 brushlands 2 plains 8 swamp 5 forest It may not look like something impressive, but believe me, it is... Permission deck have a hard time against it, because it has many big threats and a lot of must counter stuff. Swords is not that big problem, because of the necro, that makes it possible to draw back... The only problemI find is library depletion, I've almost drawn my whole deck in a few games. Well I'd like to hear some comments on my baby, and remember that if I don't get anyfeedback at all I'll post it again in spanish (because you seem to like those posts...:) ) ok, see ya soon, maybe you'll face thisdeck in a tournament (if there are other nuts like me) if so start schakin'...:-) So that was the posting, the idea is not to sack if yu can, but to link, which works in good sinergy with the rest of the deck, tell me if you like it... Hope i could help... Read'ya! Nestor!
