My 4CMG Worb deck I posted the other day has undergone quite a few changes, from some advice and from trading for some of the cards! Anyway, here's a listing: CRITTERS -------- 2 Pygmy Hippo //They're cute and it's real funny casting a winter orb with the scrounged mana 3 Quirion Ranger //Real usefull for Granger poking and more mana 3 Granger Guild Mage //Shuts down weenie decks 4 River Boa //Do you need me to give you a reason? 4 Birds of Paradise //Mana Sources . . . 4 Llanowar Elves //And more mana sources 4 Man-o'-War //EXCELLENT with Winter Orb 1 Stampeding Wildebeests //The one big dude. Very useful The Card -------- 4 Winter Orb //The game winner for this deck Utility ------- 4 Incinerate //Need creature removal . . . 4 Swords to Plowshares //Ditto. 3 Disenchant //For Disk, Mana Web, Squandered Resources, TOST 4 Memory Lapse //Cheapo Counters, GREAT under the WOrb Land ---- 7 Forest 4 Gemstone Mine //They do the job nicely enough 3 Undiscovered Paradise //Anyone got one for trade? :) 2 Quicksand //Die, Knight, Die! Sideboard --------- 4 Knight of the Mists //See above :) 3 Whirling Dirvish //Goodnight to Monoblack (necro) 2 Circle of Protection: Red //Don't know about these. Suggestions? 3 Pyroblast 3 Hydroblast Comments -------- I downgraded the land count by 5, and put the grangers in. Playtesting I won 4 or so games (and didn't lose any) by getting a Granger out and poking their WW or Llanowar/Quirion Rangers. Picked up a Wildebeest and a Force of Nature, decided on the Wildebeest because it didn't eat the land so much, and this IS a Winter Orb deck. I read someone said that StP were out as they got removed from the basic set. I think he's wrong, because they are still in an expansion set, anyone else agree? Not too sure about the Pygmy Hippos, except they are a 2/2 for 2 casting cost, so well worth it, The ability is handy, but not that useful as I hardly need any mana in this deck. Again Memory Lapses in a Winter Orb deck REALLY slow the opposition down, and of course, in counter wars, still as useful as arcanes. Anyway, would love to here all your comments on the deck, if you please? P.S. I didn't use the word 'Critique' once in this post. Whoops! :)
