No, I didn't qualify, but a friend did, and I'd like to make this deck good enough that either he decides to play it, or he at least sufficiently fears it. I like most of the deck, but I'm wishy-washy on some of the support. I have included the Urza's stuff that I think would best compliment Necro. Here's the jist of the deck. Any discussion would be greatly appreciated. Does this archetype stand a chance in 1.X? What types of decks will give it problems? Most of all, what should I do about the weak creature support? 4 Dark Ritual 3 Duress -Urza tech #1, the obvious. 4 Hymn to Tourach should I go down to 3? 3 Funeral Charm creature D puts this above 4th Duress 3 Diabolic Edict 3 Yawgmoth's Will -Urza tech #2, excelent even w/o BIG COMBO 3 Necropotence 3 Nev's Disk 4 Drain Life 3 Order of the Ebon Hand\ 3 Bottle Gnomes / Crappy creature support 2 Demonic Consultation More? Less? I could go either way... 16 Swamp 3 Wasteland 3 Lake of the Dead With the "Regrowth" effect of the Will, I feel confident going down to 3's of cards I would otherwise want 4 of- which is why I'm thinking of dropping a Hymn and maybe even a Drain- in favor of a 4th Will and something useful (creature/Consultaion...) I am unhappy with the creatures. I used to have 2 Ihsan's Shades and 5 pumpknights. Control Magic inda sucks though, and I don't know if the Shades will get through that often anyway. The Gnomes were an afterthought- I didn't have room for a creature swarm, and they give me life and block weenies. Should I go for a 4th Gnome and replace the other 2 pumpknights with the Fat?
