Subject: (Deck) Bunny Beatdown Date: Sat, 19 Sep 1998 14:36:14 EDT From: Warbean2@aol.com To: fkusumot@ix.netcom.com Well everyone seems to have an opinion on this Exodus goodie, the Jackalope Herd. The newest Ernham wanna-be, and the best, I feel it should be put in alot more decks then it is. Not one high placing bunny deck in any of the recent tourney events? absurd!!! Here then, is my nicely tuned Bunny deck. On Apprentice, it's gone something like 14-2-2, and IRL about 6-1. I continue to test it out whenever I can, and find it is excellent against other popular decks out there now. (Notice, this entire article will refrain from using 'metagame'.) 3 Wall of Blossoms <---great 3 Wrath of God <---great. Broken with a Herd. 3 Soltari Priest 3 Soltari Monk 3 Paladin En-Vec <--------the noble infantry. 2 Warrior En-Kor 1 Benalish Knight <---surprise, and good way to unsummon Herd. 2 Tithe 1 Anoint <---see Benalish Knight 4 BoP <---mana. 3 Disenchant <---4 maybe? trying to decide. 1 Cataclysm 3 Jayemdae Tome <---replenish hand. 4 Mox Diamond 4 Jackalope Herd <-----awesome 2 City of Brass 3 Gemstone Mine 9 Plains 6 Forest SB: 3 Light of Day, 4 Bottle Gnomes, 3 Aura of Silence, 3 City of Solitude, 2 Warmth Commentary: With the birds and moxes, it's not hard to get a Herd out second or third turn. And if you've done that, you'd agree with me in that you wouldn't need to cast anything else. If you have a Herd out, try and keep a disenchant or Tithe available in case it gets in trouble, which won't be all that often. It's pretty much burn proof, and it kicks down Walls or Steel Golems like blocks. Even if you don't draw a herd, your sizable army of weenies will still be able to carry the day often. Save the Tomes for the late game:DO NOT remove them, as they've saved me more times then I care to count. Please email me with your comments or questions, I'd especially like to hear how YOU do with my deck! Thanks, Warren Ko warbean2@aol.com
