The first is a simple creature rush, jump-started by the Dark Rituals. The Anvil of Bogardan is very cheap to cast and will allow you to go through your deck quicker. This will help you get your creatures faster. The second method is to force your opponent to discard while Megrim is in play. The Anvil of Bogardan forces your opponent to discard with no cost to you other than the initial casting cost (and your own discards but don't worry too much about that). Stupor, Mind Peel, Abyssal Specter and Dauthi Mindripper also help your opponent to discard. Even if your opponent wants to empty their hand for scrolls/tongs/bridges the Anvil of Bogardan still has them discarding even when they have no hand. The Volrath's Stronghold will allow you to recycle lost creatures due to direct damage or your own discarding. Both Allay and Shattering Pulse hurt this deck mightily so Lobotomy was added to take advantage of the rainbow lands. Sideboard If your opponent wants to empty their hands and you are simply helping them do it-swap out the Mind Peels and put in some Pauper's Cage. See if they're really all that enthusiastic after that! Perish are for the new and improved green hordes. Dread of Night is for White Weenie. Shattering Pulse is artifact destruction with buyback and Allay is enchantment destruction with buyback.
