Subject: deck workshop Date: Sat, 1 Aug 1998 11:18:11 -0400 (EDT) From: Necro7@webtv.net (Dan Lang) To: fkusumot@ix.netcom.com how's it going frank? here's my second submission to the workshop. i have a new deck i've been testing & it's doing quite well. first the deck, then the explanation. here goes. wins-10 losses-5 THE MIGHTY GODZILLA STOMP DECK 4-hidden horror 4-merfolk looter 4-crash of rhinos 3-rootbreaker wurm 2-necrosavant 2-colossus of sardia 1-shivan dragon 4-dark ritual 4-animte dead 4-necromancy 2-shallow grave 1-living death 3-mana leak 2-firestorm 10-swamps 4-gemstone mine 2-undiscovered paradise 2-sulfurous springs 1-underground river 1-city of brass 20-creatures 20-spells 20-lands=60 cards you can get the 'zillas into the graveyard quite quickly w/ the horrors & looters, or if you get stuck w/out either, you can decline to play a land 1st turn, & discard a biggie. 2nd turn swamp, ritual, necromancy= 3rd turn SMACK! try for the shallow graves w/ the colossuses, since it costs 9 to untap him, or use him for late game. opponents wont usually get rid of the looters, even though they know the looters help you, they dont want to waste removal on them. any way you play this deck, you'll have fun. the only trouble this deck has is a bad draw( no looters, horrors,or rituals) any suggestions for a sideboard( i'm too lazy to put one together), e-mail me at...necro7@webtv.net
