Subject: DECK - 5C beest/rider/WoB Date: Mon, 22 Jun 1998 23:02:54 +0000 From: Gary Fenrich To: fkusumot@ix.netcom.com [DECK] From: Josh Fenrich at JFenrichmtg@hotmail.com While I am not that great at deck building I have been playtesting this deck and have enjoyed reasonable success. It's a 5 color tradewind/stampeding wildebeest/wall of blossoms deck. I was hoping someone could help me fix it, and make it tourney playable. Well, here it goes: GREEN - 4 Wall of Blossoms (nuff said) 4 Stampeding Wildebeests (combo w/ WoB) 4 Maro (use with card advantage) 4 Vineyards (mana for WoB) 4 Birds (it is a 5C deck) 2 Gaea's Blessing (recycle spells) 2 Uktabi Orangutang (scrolls, bridges, and now the new counter artifact) BLUE - 4 Tradewind Riders (defense, makes a good wall, or landlock after geddon) 2 Propaganda (slows sligh and suicide black) RED - 2 Earthquakes (sligh and suicide black) WHITE - 2 Gerrard's Wisdom (life gain is good especially with WoB/Beest combo) 3 Armageddon (control) BLACK - 2 Diabolic Edict's (anything left after an earthquake, Centaurs) 1 Vampiric Tutor (gets wisdoms, propaganda's, or what ever you need) ARTIFACTS - 2 Scroll Rack (find needed cards, get card you tutored for) LAND - 3 Cities of Brass 4 Reflecting Pool 3 Gemstone Mines 4 Undiscovered Pardise (handy with Maros and Geddons) 4 Forest = 60 Cards This deck seems to play differently everytime, the main thing is to stop fast decks, then you pretty much have game with tradewind/geddon and maro beatdown. I think the mana needs to be fixed, so any comments suggestions send them to JFenrichmtg@hotmail.com.
