It combines 4 elements: Fish Burn Sligh Control My friend and I started to build this deck about 4 months ago... After long playtesting we finnally got a great deck.... We both went to the tourney w/ the same deck but different sideboards(Difference of Opinion) and I finished 1st and he ended up 4th(His sideboard was off a bit and was screwed)... We both went to tourneys very often are deck always ended up in the top 4...... soon "clones" of our decks started to pop up on the local tourney scene...none were able to donimate the scene never really gettting in top 4 let alone top 10... At that point i took apart the deck to make Draw-Go and 5cU...... Now these decks have become porminate everywhere(not b/c of me or anything), b/c of this everyone has half of their sideboard adgainst counter and Gaea's decks... So i decided to counter that by using my old Turbo U/R the problem is i took it apart and i really don't remember the deck list and my friend moved away and now i am stuck trying to remember it and add someof the ST cards in.... Well w/o anymore delay.... Turbo U/R //Counters Counterspell x4(Save these for Wraths or Armes or Game winning cards...) Mana Leak x2(Early game protection...) //Creatures Frenetic Efreet x2 (I am not sure if i had 2 or 4.. which better 2 or 4?) Jackal Pup x4 (Might add more 1 casting cost guys and he seems to be the best filler) Mogg Fanatic x4 (One of top 1 casting cost in t2) Ophidian x2 (Card advantage) Spindrift Drake x4 (The best 1 casting cost creature in game IMHO) //DD Hammer x2 (These were in orginal deck.... for late game.. not sure about them now...) Incinerate x4 (super...) Shock x4 (A lot of first turn hermits around....) //Fillers Goblin Bombardment x1 (just good...) Impulse x2 (Great) Mana severence x1 (Deck thinner) Reins of Power x2 (Great filler.... works w/ Godlin thing....) Whispers x2 (Card advantage) Unstable Mutation x2 (A 6/5 hitting someone on 2nd turn is very good.....) I will be adding in the buyback Shatter..... //Lands(less lands?) City of Brass x4 GemStone Mine x1 Island x8 Mountian x8 Sideboard.....(Just trying this out..) Disenchant x2 (Only here till i get some exdus cards...) Hydroblast x2 (A must) Orgg x2 (I am serious... I have seen these take over a game.... adgainst Sligh this is deadly) Perish x2 (Needed) Pyroblast x2 (a Must) Straw Golem x2 (First turn vs control these are great...) Wasteland x3 (5cU decks always around... hermit decks always use them....) When this deck was at its prime before it was taken apart this deck dominated... Many people who played adgainst it said it was ver successful b/c it combined three things a very successful deck that is flexible is: Speed(The Fish and Sligh elements) FirePower(Burn) Control(Counters,Card advantage) This very handly takes out Creature decks and control decks... Early game control decks can't do much and i save counters for the Disk or Wraths.... Adganst Creatures this deck burns all the small guys(Perfectly tuned to do it) while the small guys just walk in.... Most speed decks have no late game chances but this one does... IMHO this is y Turbo U/R is the most successful deck in my area(For a time)... This deck is not as good as it WAS it needs alot of work...... if u have any ideas or suggestions just post it.....
