Subject: Yet another version of WW for critique Date: Tue, 12 May 1998 02:45:26 +0800 From: Bernie <97s1734@njc.edu.sg> Newsgroups: rec.games.trading-cards.magic.strategy Well, the 2 reports on WW on the Dojo's main page have inspired me to create this deck. It's pretty much heavy anti-red with plenty of first strikers to stop Ball Lightnings and even main deck Passages. From the limited play-testing, it appears to have the most problems with bouncy blue. Tell me how you like it... Lands: 16 Plains Critters: 4 White Knights 4 Longbow Archers 4 Warriors en-Kor 3 Soltari Priests >>> DOH! really need 1 more... 3 Benalish Knights >>> I love the look on my opponent's faces when this pops out to block their Lightnings... 3 Freewind Falcons 2 Orders of the White Shield >>> not too good with Fanatics and Scrolls all around 2 Soltari Champions >>> semi-Crusades, also bolt-bait DUH! cards: 2 Cursed Scrolls >>> AIH... DOH! Utility and Miscellaneous: 4 Tithe >>> aka Landcestral Recall 4 Empyrial Armors >>> usually gives +3/+3 to +5/+5... seems to conflict with the Scrolls tho 2 Auras of Silence >>> Too many artifacts and enchantments running around 2 Honorable Passages >>> Stops red dead and can prevent damage from other colours too. Only dead against critterless, burnless decks 2 Winds of Rath >>> Really should be real Wraths but I'm too cheap to get them. Besides, works nicely with maro-skin 1 Disenchant >>> Drop for another Aura? Sideboard: Don't really have one at the moment but should consist of... Afterlifes (only way to deal with Tradewinds) More Auras/Disenchants Torture Chambers to deal with x/1 critters Warmths Karmas
